Track heavy 8 and rail out 2m.

Race 1

8. Tuscany is a Randwick-based three-year-old primed to return with a bang after two solid soft track trials. Bred to thrive in the going being by Zoustar out of a Not A Single Doubt mare, and was scratched from Kembla on Saturday to be saved for this. Aptly named 6. Newy is also first-up for a leading local stable behind two trials and showed enough on rain-affected ground last year. Big gap to the rest headed by 3. Don’t What Me, which is lightly raced and also returning for a second prep off two soft track trials.
How to play it: Tuscany to win.

8. Chisato is a lightly raced and well-bred filly in the local Kris Lees yard returning for only her third start off a 21-week break. Has been strong through the line in two Scone trials and drawn to get early cover. The market will tell a big story with 3. Le Bleu Ciel, a mare by high-class Puissance de Lune on debut for the Kim Waugh stable. Bolted in the second of two trials at this course and is bred to thrive in the ground. 1. Bundoran is an honest country mare which has placed in two runs back from a spell and has a liking for rain-affected ground. 5. Barrow Power is a stablemate filly of the top selection, and another betting watch on debut behind two improving trials.
How to play it: Chisato to win.

Race 3

9. Zo Frilling is an under-rated country mare that represents terrific value down in the weights from a low draw in a moderate line-up. Placed in two of her last three, the latest working home late in a handy super maiden at Dubbo, and gets back on to preferred wet ground. 2. Warbreccan can improve significantly second-up getting back in his preferred conditions and over further, but threatens to go around under the odds. 1. Erniegy only missed by a half-head from just off speed when resuming off a long break in a weaker country maiden. 3. Cousin Chuck improves further third-up, while 7. Gyra can run into the minor money deep into her prep, with blinkers going on.
How to play it: Zo Frilling to win.

Race 4

1. Are You Kidding is an emerging country three-year-old that has this at his mercy off a four-week freshen. Careered away to win his maiden by nearly six lengths in heavy going at Muswellbrook before disappointing as the hottest of favourites in a BM 58 at Scone after a sluggish start. Has trialled since, drawn to get cover, and shapes a cut above this lot. 2. Blazing Guru, a sparingly raced mare second-up and a month between runs, and 5. Awesome Artist, peaking at his fourth start can fight for the quinella spot. 3. Devils Daughter sneaking a little further down in the weights fourth-up, is on the next line.
How to play it: Are You Kidding to win.

5. Night Agent is a lightly raced and promising home-track three-year-old that will probably jump a short-priced favourite after a gallant late closing effort in a much stronger race at Flemington. Had previously swept home to easily land his maiden. Is the clear one to beat, although under 60.5kg and first time in heavy going, wouldn’t be diving into anything well into odds-on. 11. Yacht Girl is another one over the mark coming back from BM 66 country level, and only missed by a half-length in a Class 1 here. Keep safe 8. Chestime, which is hard fit and comes off a dominant win in a weaker grade. 1. Vin Santo, dropping in grade second-up, and 6. Royalify, which gets winkers on after being way outclassed in a provincial qualifier, can both add value into trifecta and first fours.
How to play it: Night Agent to win.

Race 6

2. Autumn King is another lightly raced and promising country colt well placed to make it two straight wins in just his second prep. Beat all but the winner in two runs to start his career last spring before spelling, then powered home for an easy first-up win at Muswellbrook as the hottest of favourites. This isn’t much harder from a soft draw and gear changes have been made. The one to beat. 4. Siragusa is a big watch returning off a break for only his second start after thrashing his opposition on debut at Tamworth. Be surprised if the winner came from outside these two, but keep safe 9. Crathie Kirk, which is a progressive home-track filly, resuming off two trials. 3. Blue Suede Hooves was good in finally landing his maiden at Hawkesbury, running past a heavily backed one. Well over the odds. 6. Into Brooklyn is another local filly that has tactical speed and can figure in the money third-up.
How to play it: Autumn King to win.

3. Zoutempus is a tough and progressive four-year-old that handles all ground. Has won his last two convincingly from the front in a successful tactical change and gets some weight relief here going up in grade. 4. Mirai San can make it two wins from his last three, importantly coming back in distance. Led all the way here in a Class 1 over 1200m before folding up late in deeper class. 6 Miss Capricorn is on an eight-day back-up after making up a tonne of ground in weaker grade, while 11. Toomuchinformation improves third-up.
How to play it: Zoutempus to win.
