The cop revealed that Mortensen had contacted the department, reportedly in February 2026. He gave information on an incident stemming from 2024 and pressed charges of domestic violence against Taylor.

The spokesperson further revealed that Taylor Frankie Paul’s ex-partner, Dakota Mortensen, was referred to the department by the Draper Police Department. This is due to the jurisdiction of the 2024-related alleged incident. The spokesperson did not provide any further details about the ongoing investigation. However, the spokesperson shared that investigators are reviewing numerous videos related to the alleged incident and are establishing the sequence of events and timelines.

Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation, and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story.”
