BTS: V and Jungkookâs Fallon Moment Goes Viral After kissing Mix-up

If there’s one thing BTS knows how to do effortlessly, it’s turn even the smallest moment into a full-blown fan event. During the band’s recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the boys were in their element. They spoke about their new album Arirang, what they missed about each other when they were away in the military and ARMYs. And then came the moment that TaeKook fans are now swooning over.

When Kim Taehyung aka V was asked what he missed most about Jeon Jungkook, he sweetly said he missed the latter teasing him. However, it is not a BTS interview if chaos doesn’t follow. It sounded like Taehyung said “kissing” instead of “teasing”. Within seconds, the room flipped and the crowd erupted. Fallon broke into laughter and the other members seemed confused.


As Jungkook nudged Taehyung and Jimmy seemed confused, RM stepped in to clear things up. He said that Taehyung missed Jungkook annoying him but by then, the moment had already taken on a life of its own. Fans, especially those deep in the TaeKook universe, couldn’t keep calm.

One fan wrote, “Chat I too heard it as “KISSING ME” AND AFTERWARDS TAE WAS SO SO SHY OMG AND JUNGKOOK WAS JUST SMUG SMILING HELLO?!!! I/ excuse me Taekook”, while another added, “not jungkook being flustered as hell and poking him right away CUT THE CAMERAS GOOD FUCKING BYE”

“Taehyung kissing Jungkook… I mean… missing…Whatever that is oh my Taekook heartttttt”, read another comment.

Meanwhile, BTS, consisting of RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, Jungkook and V recently dropped their fifth album, titled Arirang. This marked their first album after their military service. The South-Korean boyband will now embark on a world tour starting this April.
