Waterloo Road star Kym Marsh is reportedly preparing to tie the knot for the fourth time after her partner of seven months got down on one knee during a romantic getaway

Kym Marsh is said to be engaged after just seven months. The Waterloo Road star is said to have said “yes” earlier this week, during a romantic trip to Paris with her partner, Tom Dickinson.
The former singer, 49, and Tom started dating less than a year ago, after meeting on a dating site, and it appears that all systems are go for the happy couple. Reports claim that the star, who last year said she wouldn’t marry for a fourth time, is now planning a summer ceremony with her fiancé.
Tom is reported to have spoken to Kym’s mum, Pauline, as well as her children, before he got down on one knee, next to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. “Kym and Tom are on cloud nine and couldn’t be happier to be engaged. Their romance has been like a fairytale,” a source said.

They went on to add to The Sun : “Tom had planned the perfect proposal and got down on one knee next to the Eiffel Tower.” The source added that Kym has a “beautiful ring” and she’s looking forward to planning her wedding day.
“Her family and friends are ecstatic for them. They can see how happy Tom makes her,” they said. Previously, it was reported that Kym had been “swept off her feet” by senior commercials manager Tom, having been single for several months.
“They both signed up to the dating site at pretty much the same time — it was like it was meant to be. It was the perfect match,” a source previously said. In October last year, Kym took to social media to parade her relationship after splitting from her ex, Samuel Thomas, whom she once described as her “soulmate”.
On her Instagram Stories, she posted a selfie her partner took of them as they enjoyed some time together at a restaurant. Another picture posted in September showed Kym’s partner with his arm around her while she placed her hand on his stomach. The two were posing with pals at a bar.
Kym previously talked about her future plans and said she doesn’t plan to marry again. She was previously married to EastEnders star Jack Ryder before they split in 2009. She later married Hollyoaks‘ Jamie Lomas, the dad of two of her children, in 2012 but divorced in 2014.
The former Hear’Say singer married Army Major Scott Ratcliff in 2021 before they called off the marriage just shy of two years. Talking to The Independent as she got ready to star in a theatre production of Abigail’s Party in April, playing Beverley, she said of the seventies, when the play was written: “You were expected to get married back then. It was almost a little girl’s dream.
“But not for Kym Marsh. I’ve been married three times, and three times it’s not gone well – so no more for me. Three strikes and I’m out.” In September, images emerged of Kym’s profile on the dating app Hinge, where she described herself as an “actor/presenter.”
She also referred to her fame, saying her dating life is like “being on the Truman Show – but it’s never boring!”
