It so happened that the golfer was driving a Land Rover when he reportedly tried to overtake a truck and then hit it on its rear body, causing a flipover. He was arrested for the same, and was held at a local jail for almost 8 hours before he was released on bail. This is not the first time that Tiger Woods has been arrested for DUI charges.
Before this, in 2017, Tiger Woods pleaded guilty to reckless driving as well. While the authorities clarified that he was not under the influence of alcohol, he reportedly showed some signs of impairment before his recent arrest and said ‘no’ to a urinalysis test, which could have shown whether there was any substance or medication usage. If a report by the Daily Mail is to be believed, Vanessa Trump was far from happy over the incident that brought her and Tiger Woods’s relationship into the limelight. Earlier, reports claimed that Vanessa and her daughter were not involved in the accident. Well, an insider revealed to the Daily Mail that Vanessa is disappointed. She also reportedly wants him to sort things out.
As per the insider, if Tiger Woods doesn’t keep things under control, Vanessa will not stick around. While it’s not an ultimatum, Vanessa made her feelings pretty clear about this incident. As per the insider:
“She’s not happy at all. She’s both disappointed and a little bit p***ed, if I’m being honest. It’s a definite red flag and she told him that he’s going to get this sorted out, and that she’s going to require that. He has to get things under control, or she’s not going to stick around.”
To mention, Donald Trump has earlier reacted to the DUI arrest of Tiger Woods. He was asked by the Miami reporters about the same. To which, he said that he knew that the accident took place. He said that Tiger Woods is an amazing human being and a close friend of his, while stating that the golfer has some difficulties.
