Bosses at ITV are said to have been left furious after finding out that Olivia Attwood reportedly never legally married her partner, Bradley Dack, despite a reality show documenting it

Olivia Attwood’s “fake marriage” has reportedly left ITV furious. The former Love Island star and her now-ex-partner, Bradley Dack, documented their wedding for a 12-episode series on the network.

During the series, viewers saw Olivia and footballer Bradley tie the knot at the five-star Bvlgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, London. However, it has since emerged that the paperwork they signed on the show was fake, as the hotel reportedly didn’t have a marriage license.

It’s been claimed that Olivia and Bradley had planned to sign legal documents at a registry office in Cheshire after their “wedding”. But there is reportedly no official record of the marriage. It’s claimed that Olivia chose not to make the marriage legally binding due to “mistruths”.

However, it’s now been claimed that ITV bosses only discovered the marriage wasn’t legally binding when news reports emerged over the weekend. Sources have told MailOnline that bosses were completely “blindsided” by the bombshell news.

The source went on to claim that bosses were “stunned” by the revelation and angered that Olivia hadn’t informed them she didn’t go through with the legal ceremony. ITV are now reportedly bracing for any complaints made to TV watchdog Ofcom from viewers who may feel they were misled by Olivia Marries Her Match.

Olivia’s show, produced by Lifted Entertainment, offered viewers an “access all areas” pass leading up to the ceremony, including dress fittings, wine tastings, as well as her hen do and Bradley’s stag do.

Those who tuned in also witnessed the pair say “I do” for the series, after previously seeing eight episodes of Olivia Meets Her Match. “She always acknowledged him as her husband and used his name, so there was never any need to question the matter,” a source told The Sun over the weekend.

The source added to the publication: “ITV would never dream of intentionally trying to deceive their viewers and appreciates the severity of the revelation. The show now looks like a cash grab from Olivia and Bradley and makes a mockery of her fanbase.”

It was claimed that the City of Westminster Archives Centre showed no wedding records for the couple between 2022 and 2023. Despite their relationship, “mistruths” prevented Olivia from going ahead with the legal ceremony in Cheshire, where she and Bradley lived.

Since their split, Bradley has faced accusations of cheating, with a source claiming that during one encounter, Olivia was repeatedly phoning Bradley but couldn’t get in touch with him at the time.

Olivia revealed in February that she and Bradley had called time on their marriage, after less than three years. Their relationship has been marred by allegations of cheating, while Olivia’s friendship with Pete was said to have caused tension between the former couple.

Bradley unfollowed Pete earlier this year on Instagram, a month before the TOWIE favourite reportedly began his romance with Olivia.
