The actress shares a son, Lennon, with the Oasis star
Patsy Kensit is no stranger to rock and roll having grown up as a child star before marrying rockers Dan Donovan, Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr and then Oasis star Liam Gallagher.
The actress, 58, has son James, 32, with Jim and 26-year-old Lennon with Liam, and tells The Mirror she’s happy her youngest witnessed the magic of Oasis live on stage during the band’s iconic reunion tour last year.
When asked whether Lennon enjoyed the band’s tour, Patsy said: “He did, and it’s fantastic. I think it’s wonderful. I’m so happy for Lennon that he’s had that experience of going to see them live.”

Patsy and Liam were a 90s power couple, after meeting on a plane in 1995. They were due to marry in early 1997 but cancelled the wedding, blaming the intense media attention and pressure. Instead, they tied the knot in secret two months later. It was all over in less than three years and Patsy has previously claimed she’s not had any contact with Liam for 26 years. However, reflecting on that period of her life she said: “It was such a magical time, the 90s. It was an epic era. I’ve seen the magic and I love the music.”
Patsy is one of the celebrities braving the elements in the eighth series of BBC reality show Pilgrimage, subtitled The Road To Holy Island. Her career began as a child actress and went on to include roles in films such as Absolute Beginners and stints on Emmerdale and EastEnders. She tells the Mirror that schlepping through the countryside from Northumberland to Lindisfarne while discussing spirituality with her co-stars was tough but also “wonderful”.
She shared the journey with Diversity star Ashley Banjo, former Love Islander Tasha Ghouri and Cold Feet actress Hermione Norris – and she jokes that one of her fellow pilgrims became her “carer” as she tackled a particularly steep climb.
She added: “Being away for my youngest son Lennon’s 26th birthday was tough. I missed that, so that day I was quite sad. I could speak to him on the phone and all that, of course. And look, he’s a grown man, he’s off doing his own thing.
“But he’s still my baby, so that was a moment for me. But the whole experience was incredible. Every day you got something different out of it. And there are times when you’re walking every day in the wind and the cold, and it does knock it out of you. But I absolutely loved it. We found out so much about each other during the process. We were very, very lucky. Everybody did seem to really vibe.”
