Another major controversy unfolded after Cody Rhodes and Stephanie McMahon’s heated exchange that ended up in a physical altercation during the WWE RAW event. It all started after Stephanie stepped inside the ring, where Cody was already prepping for his match against Randy Orton. 

The segment showed a heated exchange between Cody Rhodes and Stephanie McMahon. Soon, the two were taking digs at each other’s famous fathers, and the conversation reached a point when Stephanie lost her cool and slapped Cody during the confrontation.

The heated altercation between Cody and Stephanie left Brandi extremely unhappy. Brandi slammed Stephanie and issued a stern warning to her. She added that if she took this fight further, she would not stay quiet. She even claimed that she would come in between to defend her husband. This left many wondering if Brandi might come in between their fight for the honour of her husband. She shared a social media post which can be read as:

“Aw sh*t, Steph…man, come on I’m chillin, please don’t make me get up.”

Talking about the McMahon’s physical altercation with Cody. During the heated exchange, she went on to deliver a stinging slap across Cody’s face, which came as a shock to him. However, she quickly claimed that she was helping him prepare for the match. 

Before the slap, Stephanie made razor-sharp remarks about Cody. She compared him to Dusty Rhodes and stated that his father had the tools to defeat the version of Randy Orton, while Cody has nothing. This personal attack on his legacy triggered him. In his defence, Cody used Stephanie’s family history against her. He brought her father, Vince McMahon, who left Stephanie further angered. After the slap moment, Cody thanked Stephanie and told her that it added to his mental toughness.
