Love On The Spectrum S4: Tyler And Madison’s Journey, From Being Paired To Engagement On Dating Show

After a long wait, the hit reality show, Love on the Spectrum, is back with all-new episodes. For those unaware, season 4 of the Netflix dating series dropped on April 1, 2026. While some cast members from the previous season are featured, many newcomers seeking love also joined the show. The full cast of Love on the Spectrum Season 4 includes Dylan Aguliar, Georgie Harris, James B. Jones, Madison Marilla, Emma Sue Miller, Logan Pereira, Connor Tomilson, Tyler White, and Shelly Wolfe. 

Among the cast, it is Madison and Tyler who are currently grabbing the headlines. Well, it was during one of the later episodes on the show that Tyler popped the big question to Madison and the duo got engaged. With fans swooning over their romance, let’s take a look at Tyler and Madison’s journey from how they met for the first time to how they got engaged on Love on the Spectrum Season 4. 

Who are Madison Marilla and Tyler White? 

Madison Marilla used to live in Santa Rose, California and Sudbury, Massachusetts. She made her debut on Season 3 of the hit reality show, Love on the Spectrum. If reports are believed to be true, in 2020, Madison earned a degree in psychology from Western New England University. Many might not be aware that before she went to university, Madison had worked with high school students at the Sudbury Parks and Recreation Department’s adaptive sports program. 

During a 2025 conversation with the Magazine of Western New England University, she said that the experiences she had there made her realise that she wanted to do that as a career. Madison added that she wanted to understand the reasoning behind why autistic people act the way that they do. To note, Madison also has her own business. She runs a jewellery and accessories brand called Madizen LLC.  

On the other hand, Madison’s now-fiancé, Tyler White, is a DJ and singer who is originally from Arkansas. Like Madison, he made his debut in Season 3 of Love on the Spectrum. Thanks to his profession, Tyler has had the opportunity to attend a variety of events, from weddings to concerts. Last year, in July 2025, Tyler was seen performing on stage at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry as part of its 100th anniversary celebration. There, he was surprised onstage by one of his role models, Randy Travis.  

How did Madison Marilla and Tyler White meet each other? 

It was during the matchmaking process in Love on the Spectrum that Madison Marilla and Tyler White met each other for the first time. Apparently, it was the show’s producers who had paired the two together and set them up on a blind date. This was done based on their shared interests and personalities. The fact that Madison was pleased by their pairing was evidenced in her interview with People, as she said, casting “did really well with their search to set us up on a blind date. She further praised them by saying they thought everything through and put us together.”  

From their very first meeting, there was a spark between Madison and Tyler. In April 2025, during a conversation on Netflix’s Tudum, Madison confessed that she felt butterflies and sparks upon meeting Tyler. She also noticed that Tyler was wearing cowboy hats and boots, something which gave away that he enjoys country music just like she does. Additionally, Tyler left a strong impression on Madison while showing off his deep knowledge of country songs.  

Since Tyler and Madison’s first meeting, they have attended several events together. For instance, in November 2025, the couple walked the CMA Awards red carpet together. More recently, in January 2026, Tyler and Madison threw beads at the Children’s Gasparilla Parade in Tampa. Tyler and Madison were also seen visiting Disney World together.

Having premiered on April 1, 2026, this season will showcase several of the couple’s milestones. This includes Madison moving to Florida and her and Tyler’s very first Valentine’s Day together.  

When did Madison Marilla and Tyler White get engaged? 

As you might have already heard, Madison Marilla and Tyler White are officially engaged! For those who haven’t already started watching Love on the Spectrum season 4, it was in episode 6 that Tyler got down on one knee to propose to his ladylove during their one-year anniversary celebration. The proposal was held at the Sunken Gardens in Tampa, Florida. There, on a wedding lawn, Tyler followed a playful “Christmas in July” theme as a nod to Madison’s love for the holiday.  

Initially, Tyler and Madison were seen spending some time reflecting on their relationship. Soon after this, Tyler surprised her with a “letter from Santa.” If you are wondering what this letter contained, it actually had a heartfelt message from Tyler expressing his love for Madison. He wrote: 

“I knew in my heart when I met you, that I found someone special, unique and precious. With this being our one-year anniversary, I would like to give you a gift to express just how much you mean to me. From the moment I met you, I knew I had met my person, and I don’t want to wait another moment to let the world know just how I feel.” 

Tyler then went on to pop the big question. As part of the proposal, he gave Madison a diamond ring and a ruby-and-diamond band. As their engagement continues into the next episode, we see the couple celebrate by throwing a party, attended by both their friends and fellow cast members.  

How are Madison, Marilla and Tyler White doing after their engagement on Love on the Spectrum? 

At present, Madison and Tyler are having the time of their lives as an engaged couple. In April 2026, Madison told People that “it’s an amazing feeling.” Despite not living together just yet, Madison and Tyler see each other “daily.” She said that they enjoy going to Busch Gardens and even to church together. Tyler, on the other hand, shared more insight into their life as an engaged couple and told People:  

“We go on lots of dates. There have been times we’d go get something quick to eat and then go see a movie after church on Sunday, and I get her for Wednesday night. We go eat and then go to church, and I take her back home.”
