In XO, Kitty Season 3 episode 6, ‘Kitty’ ends her relationship with ‘Min Ho’ after suspecting that he cheated on her with ‘Eunice’. However, the truth is different. The conflict between ‘Kitty’ and ‘Min Ho’ began when the former found him hugging ‘Eunice’. Already feeling out of place in ‘Min Ho’s’ highly-publicised world, ‘Kitty’ starts doubting him. Moreover, her suspicions deepen when she finds ‘Eunice’ crying in the bathroom and notices a pregnancy test kit. ‘Kitty’ assumes the worst that ‘Min Ho’ cheated on her with ‘Eunice’ and ends their relationship.

‘Kitty’s’ departure breaks ‘Min Ho’. Later, the truth behind ‘Eunice’s’ pregnancy comes out, and it states that ‘Min Ho’ had nothing to do with it. After learning the truth and realising her mistakes, ‘Kitty’ comes back to ‘Min Ho’ and apologises to him. However, ‘Min Ho’ doesn’t accept her apology and explains to her that he has consistently tried to make her feel secure, but her mistrust comes from within. ‘Min Ho’ admits to ‘Kitty’ that for him the issue is not just the misunderstanding, but the lack of trust. After this heartbreaking confession, ‘Min Ho’ ends his relationship with ‘Kitty’.

Meanwhile, ‘Kitty’ decides to leave Seoul and applies to NYC, her dream university. By the time ‘Kitty’s’ 18th birthday arrives, ‘Min Ho’ realises that he still loves her and plans to confess his feelings to her. However, ‘Min Ho’ holds back when he gets to know that ‘Kitty’ got a chance in NYC.

While ‘Kitty’ decides to leave ‘Seoul’, ‘Min Ho’ realises that he wants both ‘Kitty’ and his music career. He rushes to find her and finally decides to confess his true feeling to her. ‘Min Ho’ sends ‘Kitty’ a text message saying that he has finally completed her birthday gift. The message contains a song that ‘Min Ho’ made for ‘Kitty’. After listening to the song, ‘Kitty’ understands their deep bond. When ‘Min Ho’ finds ‘Kitty’, they finally confess their love for each other. They fly to Portland and have a happy ending.
