Trump is ‘ranting like an unhinged madman’: Schumer

The Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer condemned Trump’s angry profanity-laced threat to bomb Iran.

“Happy Easter, America. As you head off to church and celebrate with friends and family, the President of the United States is ranting like an unhinged madman on social media.

“He’s threatening possible war crimes and alienating allies. This is who he is, but this is not who we are. Our country deserves so much better,” Schumer wrote.

Trump drops F-bomb in Easter threat to Iran

By Ellen Connolly

Warning: The below post contains very strong, uncensored language that some readers may find offensive.

After celebrating the rescue of a lost American airman from Iran’s mountains on Saturday night, US President Donald Trump began Easter morning with an expletive-laden warning to Iran.

He said if Tehran did not open the Strait of Hormuz by Tuesday, the US would target the country’s energy infrastructure, which supplies power for millions of civilians.

Trump made the ultimatum in a crudely worded post on Truth Social.

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F–kin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he posted on Truth Social.

Trump published a post on Truth Social on Easter Sunday.
