Boy died after being hit while riding e-scooter

An 11-year-old boy has died after being hit while riding his e-scooter on Mandurah Terrace on Monday.

Emergency services received reports that an e-scooter had collided with a blue Mazda station wagon on Mandurah Terrace near Stewart Street at about 5.10pm.

The 11-year-old rider of the e-scooter sustained critical injuries and was taken to Peel Halth Campus but her later died.

The 46-year-old driver of the Mazda stopped at the scene and was helping police with their investigation.

Major Crash investigators were calling for witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers online via www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.
