The praises for Dhurandhar: The Revenge have still not stopped coming in and now Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have showered their love on the Aditya Dhar directorial.
Anushka, who shared the screen with Dhurandhar actor Ranveer Singh in Dil Dhadakne Do, praised her co-star for ‘seizing once in a lifetime chapter’ and delivering a solid performance.
Her note read, “What a fantastic film you’ve made Aditya Dhar! It takes so much conviction to make a almost 4 hr long film. Gripping and immersive, meticulously crafted, the film holds your attention through and through. You are a fiercely original and assured filmmaker. @ranveersingh You seized a once-in-a-lifetime character and delivered a solid, flawless performance. @actormaddy @rampal72 @therakeshbedi sir and each and every fantastic actor in the film: Every performance lands perfectly; the film is unthinkable without each of you. Replying to this, Dhar wrote, “This is truly overwhelming coming from such an exceptional talent like you. Thank you so much, Anushka. It only pushes us to aim higher, to tell stories with honesty, heart and purpose….”
Virat Kohli, too, had great things to write about the film. He stated that Dhurandhar brought out every kind of emotion to the surface. “I didn’t flinch once for almost 4 hours.” He also stated that Ranveer has attained a ‘different level’ after this film.
The ace cricketer’s note made Dhar emotional as he replied, “Wooowwww! Can’t believe this is happening. Virat, this genuinely means so much. Been a fan since your under 19WC days. Watching a once-in-a-generation legend show love like tis just hits different.”
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has crossed Rs 1,000 crore (net) in India and is continuing to collect massive numbers at the box office.
