A man in his 60s was arrested in the act after allegedly threatening a route bus driver with a knife while the vehicle was in motion in Tokyo’s Nakano Ward on April 7th.

At around 7:30 a.m. on April 7th, a call was made to emergency services from a bus depot reporting that a passenger had produced a knife on a route bus traveling through Nakano Ward.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the man in his 60s allegedly pointed the knife at the driver while complaining that the bus was “too slow.”
