Despite the quartet posing for pictures in Dubai and all with beaming smiles, it was claimed the meeting turned into a disaster with Lee punching Paolo ‘square on the head’

Kerry Katona’s boyfriend Paolo Margaglione has finally broken his silence following claims he was involved in a ‘punch up’ with Katie Price’s new husband, Lee Andrews.

The former Atomic Kitten singer’s blissful Dubai trip is said to have descended into chaos after joining her pal on her honeymoon. Despite the quartet posing for pictures and all with beaming smiles, it was claimed the meeting turned into a disaster with Lee punching Paolo.

Last month, Kerry said she was “so over the drama”, adding that her pal “can do what she wants” – but until now, her boyfriend hasn’t addressed the alleged incident.

Speaking to Paul Brunson on his podcast We Need To Talk this week, Paolo and Kerry made a number of telling comments in response to being shown a picture of themselves posing with Katie and Lee in Dubai. Paolo declared he loved Katie “one on one”, while Kerry said she didn’t “agree with all the choices she makes”.

Kerry said: “I have no comment. I am not giving this any oxygen. There you go, that’s it. I love Kate to bits.” Paolo added: “Kate one on one as a person is amazing. I’ve met her enough times to make a judgment of her. I think she’s an incredible person.

“I really do. I think she wants to be loved. I think she deserves to be loved. I really, genuinely, sincerely mean that and I think she’s an amazing person. And Kerry speaks nothing but good about Kate.”

Not wanting to delve any deeper into the subject, Kerry ended the conversation by saying: “We’re gonna leave it there. It’s not my story to tell Paul, either.”

Kerry reportedly wasn’t present when the alleged drama took place. Taking to Instagram afterwards, Katie shot down the claims in a video, saying: “Hey everyone. Oh, my God. There is so much speculation at the moment going around about me and Lee. I don’t know what the fascination is, but one thing I will clear up, there has not been any punch ups, punches thrown between Lee and Paolo.

“If anything, we had a really good day, and we celebrated with them, and that was it. Had a great day. I don’t know where these stories have come from. Lee has never, ever been aggressive, angry, or spoken to me in any sort of way.

“We are so in love, and he is my absolute teddy bear. That’s what I call him, my teddy bear. And we can’t wait for when we get back to England to do a big wedding, when all our family friends and obviously Kerry and Paolo would be our special guests.”

An onlooker alleged that it all kicked off as Lee supposedly had cross words with his new wife. The source told The Sun : “Paolo then appeared and stepped in. Lee seemed to be very angry and was shouting at him. It all got very heated and Lee threw some punches and one of them landed Paolo square on the head.”

It’s alleged the incident took place in the hotel where Paolo and Kerry were staying. Lee and Katie are thought to have fled shortly after the apparent altercation.

Another source told the publication: “Katie and Kerry were great friends but this has really set the cat amongst the pigeons. Kerry didn’t see any of this happen, Paolo told her about it and naturally she was upset.” Katie and Lee’s reps denied the reports to Daily Mail.

According to a source who spoke to The Sun, Lee’s behaviour has “taken its toll” on the family. The paper added the most recent altercation was the ‘final straw’ for Kerry, as Katie just stood by. The source said: “Knowing she sat there and watched Lee go for Kerry’s man Paolo has come as a huge shock.

“Katie has been friends with Kerry for decades and she has been full of support for her through her most troubled times, so this feels like a real betrayal.”

In March, Kerry said her pal “can do what she wants” after supposedly unfollowing Lee Andrews on Instagram. Kerry said she’s “so over the drama” and is in “a good place”, adding that she’s not going to be “pulled in” to the saga.

Speaking to The Sun, Kerry said: “I don’t wanna talk about Kate. I don’t wanna talk about Lee. “I’m not interested in this saga. I’m not gonna be pulled in. I’m not gonna give it any oxygen. I’m in a good place.

“Kate can do what she wants. She’s a grown-a** woman. That’s all I have to say. It’s boring now. I am so over it. Can we have a new drama?”
