After the massive success of its recent re-release, the world of Tumbbad is officially expanding. Actor and producer Sohum Shah has thrilled fans by announcing the start of the shoot for the much-awaited sequel, Tumbbad 2. To mark the occasion, the makers shared a mahurat shot along with a gripping motion poster that has immediately sparked curiosity across social media.
Tumbbad has long been hailed as a cinematic masterpiece and one of the finest Hindi folklore fantasy films ever made. While it initially earned a dedicated cult following, its 2024 re-release solidified its legacy, remarkably becoming the second highest-grossing re-released Indian film. This renewed momentum has set the stage for the sequel, with fans excited for the same.
The newly released motion poster offers a glimpse into the dark, atmospheric world the franchise is known for. Featuring the idol of “Poorti Ki Devi,” the poster captures the mysterious and suspenseful energy of the film.
