Sydney Sweeney and Zendaya have reportedly entered into a feud that started over Tom Holland. The actresses both star in the gritty HBO drama that follows the lives of troubled high school students.
But “tensions” are said to have arisen between Zendaya, 29, who has been in a relationship with her Dune co-star since 2021, and Sydney, 28, some time ago because she also had a crush on him.
Insiders have now claimed that the rift got so bad the actresses haven’t spoken in recent times and they avoided each other during production of the show’s upcoming third season. A source said: “Euphoria bosses are all too aware the pair do not get on. There were tensions way back. It was an open secret that Sydney had the hots for Tom and was flirty with him when he would come to set.

Speaking to The Sun, the source added: “That did not go down well with Zendaya. They have not really hung out socially since then. Their paths barely crossed during the making of season three.”
The Mirror has contacted representatives of both actresses for comment.
It’s thought that Zendaya and Tom, who met when they starred together in Spider-Man: Homecoming a decade ago, secretly married – but the pair have never confirmed this and have continued to confuse fans on the matter.
Tom was spotted out with friends in Los Angeles this Friday with no ring on his finger, shortly after Zendaya was spotted in Los Angeles wearing two rings.
Tom was also previously seen with a bare wedding finger after enjoying a stroll in Miami earlier in the week. While the couple haven’t publicly confirmed whether they are officially married, Zendaya teased fans even more after posing for pictures on the red carpet at the ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards Ceremony and appeared to have the bands on full show.
Zendaya made no effort to conceal the jewellery and instead stood in a number of poses for photographers, while Tom is yet to be spotted with a ring on his finger.
Fans instantly took to social media to speculate on the situation, with one person writing on his latest Instagram post: “How come Holland hasn’t said anything if he’s the founder of the spoilers lol”, while another added: “Bro did you get married???”.
Reports the pair had secretly married first came about earlier this month after the actress’ stylist and Drag Race star, Law Roach, made the claim the may have already exchanged vows.
Insisting to a reporter it was “very true” that the pair had married, Law kept tight-lipped on any further details, telling Access Hollywood at the Actor Awards: “You missed it”. He also repeated the claim to another outlet.
This comes after he said last April that the wedding was “far away”. He added at the time that both Zendaya and Tom were working on films this year and have premieres to attend next year. Law, who said that he will “of course” be involved with the dress, told E! News that he was “resting up” for next year.
