St. John’s is in the mix for Queens native Mo Dioubate, a transfer from Kentucky, according to sources.

Dioubate has set up a visit for Tuesday, as first reported by The Post. The 6-foot-7 wing is a talented defender and strong rebounder who could help fill the void left by Dillon Mitchell. Last year at Kentucky, Dioubate averaged 8.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 21.6 minutes. He has played in the NCAA Tournament three times, last year at Kentucky and in each of his first two seasons at Alabama.

Dioubate has had Zoom calls with St. John’s and Virginia. He has also drawn interest from Creighton, Baylor, Mississippi State, Maryland and Providence.

The Johnnies are also hosting Kansas State sharpshooting wing Abdi Bashir Jr. on Monday. The 6-7 junior spent the first two years of his career at Monmouth and is a career 39.9 percent 3-point shooter. He averaged 13.3 points and 2.3 assists last season while shooting 44.4 percent from distance on 8.4 attempts.

St. John’s is expected to be active in the portal as it looks to replace starters Zuby Ejiofor, Bryce Hopkins, Oziyah Sellers and Mitchell. Some of the Johnnies’ top targets include two highly-rated centers, Flory Bidunga of Kansas and Massamba Diop of Arizona, and guards KJ Lewis of Georgetown and Terrence Brown of Utah, among many others.

The only Johnnie with remaining eligibility who has decided to leave so far is Sadiku Ibine Ayo. Ayo is close with coach Rick Pitino, and Pitino believes it is in his best interest to explore his options in terms of playing time and NIL opportunities.

Assistant coach Greg Youncofski is leaving St. John’s to join Richard Pitino’s staff at Xavier. He initially joined the program as director of operations and was promoted to assistant coach this past season.
