The feud between Brooklyn Beckham and his family shows no signs of thawing out after he publicly praised his in-laws while blanking his entire family in social media posts

David and Victoria Beckham have reportedly tried to reach out to their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, multiple times in a desperate bid to heal their rift. But it looks as though their gentle advances have fallen short if recent social media his posts are anything to go by.

In Brooklyn’s latest series of post celebrating his four year wedding anniversary, he expressed his love but once again did not use the opportunity to mention his parents. This is in contrast to the gushing posts he’s made about his in-laws Nelson and Claudia Peltz, the most recent of which was when he shared a picture of the large bouquet of flowers sent to him and his wife Nicola Peltz. He did not mention his parents in any of his posts.

It comes after Brooklyn took to Instagram back in January and posted a six page statement claiming that he wanted no contact with his parents.

At the time he alleged that all his parents cared about was brand Beckham, he added that his mother cancelled designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute, he claimed Victoria “hijacked” his wedding and danced “inappropriately” with him, leaving Nicola in floods of tears.

Brooklyn had made clear prior to his bombshell statement that he had purposefully distanced himself from the family. He hadn’t attended any key family events last year including David’s 50th birthday celebrations and Christmas, which was the first time he had not been with his family over the festive period.

Another dig at his parents seemingly came after he showed off his new tattoo tribute to Nicola, The inking on his left hand read “our little bubble”, which harks back to when he was asked whether moving to America was a hard transition.

In response he said: “No, because I’m marrying my best friend, so we kind of have our own little bubble together now and it’s just really nice.”

The couple renewed their wedding vows at her family’s Florida home three years after trying the knot in 2022. However, this time Brooklyn made the bold step to not invite any of his family members.

Instead he was surrounded by Nicola’s family and the couple’s friends. In another gushing post to celebrate his anniversary, Brooklyn spoiled his wife with a large bouquet of flowers with love letters sat on top.

The actress then reposted his Instagram story which showed he captioned it saying: “Happy anniversary Nicola Peltz Beckham x love you with all my heart can’t wait to stay young with you xx love you so so much.”

Brooklyn could also be seen in a second post leaning back from the driver’s seat of a vehicle, surprising her once again with flowers and a coffee.

She then captioned the post saying: “Surprise flowers and love letters are my favourite ever I love you so much Brooklyn Peltz Beckham.”

In what has been reported as a show of defiance, Brooklyn seemed to addresses the latest tension he and his wife have endured following the breakdown of his connection to his family.
