Singareni Worker’s Daughter Gets State’s 2nd Rank

Adilabad: Renka Vaishnavi of Srirampur, daughter of a Singareni worker, is said to have secured the state second rank in the Intermediate BiPC stream. She secured 995 marks out of 1,000. Her father is a general mazdoor at RK 5 coal mine in Srirampur. Vaishnavi said she wanted to settle down as a doctor to serve the people after completing specialisation in medicine. Earlier, Vaishnavi got 10/10 GPA in SSC. Her father Chandramouli said his daughter was good at studying from childhood and used to work hard, and this paid off in the Intermediate exam.

Soumya K., student of a social welfare institution in Mancherial, scored 994 out of 1,000 marks in the MPC stream. She chose the college due to financial constraints of her parents, who work as tailors. She said that her sister also studied in the same college, cleared NEET-UG, and is now pursuing a third year of MBBS. Soumya has already cleared JEE Main Session 1 and aims to clear JEE Advanced and secure a seat in an IIT. She also chose the arts stream to prepare for the UPSC exam and is currently aiming to crack the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to secure BA (Honours) Economics admission at Delhi University.
N. Mani Sampana from the Government Junior College at Palvancha secured 985 out of 1,000 in the HEC stream. Even though her father, a government gurukul English teacher, could afford private education, he chose a government college for her. He believes that government colleges are as good as private ones and that their teachers are highly knowledgeable. Sampana said results in the Intermediate Public Examinations show that several students who pursued intermediate in government-run junior colleges achieved stellar success.
A. Naveena scored 950 out of 1,000 in the HEC stream. She lives with her grandparents, as she lost her parents at the age of five. She studied at a Government Junior College in Jagtial and aims to become a social studies teacher.
