Shah Rukh’s Ex Bodyguard Reveals How Working For The Actor Changed His Life, ‘Had Eight Passports..’

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most iconic stars around the globe, with an immense fanbase. The actor is hailed as the King of Bollywood and as a ruler of the industry for decades. In a recent interaction, Shah Rukh’s former security chief, Yaseen Khan, made some revelations about the star. In the same interaction, he also revealed that his life improved after he started working with the Jawan actor.

In an interaction with Hindi Rush, Shah Rukh Khan’s ex-security chief, Yaseen Khan, revealed that after he started working with the actor, he experienced a life of luxury. Yaseen shared that his life was exactly the same as Shah Rukh’s life. Talking about the same, he said:

“My life was whatever Shah Rukh sir’s life was. I used to travel around the globe in private planes, stay in five star hotels, and had eight passports completely stamped. When I joined Shah Rukh sir, I saw a plane for the first time.”

Shah Rukh Khan’s ex-security reveals whether bodyguards are paid in crores?

Sometime back, there were claims that security guards of famous personalities are paid in crores for their services. According to reports, security guards’ income ranges from Rs. 2 to 2.5 crore annually. But Yaseen gave a different picture. Dismissing the claims, he shared that the report is false and none of the bodyguards is earning in crores. Yaseen also shared the fact that the pay also varies based on the mutual understanding, but it doesn’t go to crores.

Yaseen Khan shared how Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, Gauri, changed the payment system

In the same interaction, Yaseen revealed that mostly security guards receive a fixed salary from the celebrity they work for. Yaseen also shared that sometimes producers also compensate the guards separately for working during the shoot. However, Yaseen shared that security guards were not paid extra for accompanying stars on a shoot.

He pointed out that drivers, makeup artists, and spot boys were usually covered by producers, but bodyguards were paid limited salaries. He wished to change the system and spoke to Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, Gauri Khan, regarding the same. Gauri understood Yaseen’s concern and agreed to change the payment criteria. As a result, producers gradually began offering separate payments and contracts to security staff working on film sets.

Why did Yaseen Khan leave his job with Shah Rukh Khan?

Yaseen worked closely with Shah Rukh and his family for a decade, from 2001 to 2011 and witnessed his stupendous rise in the industry. In 2011, he left his job due to personal reasons, and Shah Rukh supported his decision. In 2015, he started his own security company, YK PROSEC, which now handles VIP protection and major events. He has worked with many high-profile weddings, which also included Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli, Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas and a few others.
