Now, it is being reported that after Asha’s demise, her properties and assets, reportedly at Rs. 250 crore, will be inherited by her son, Anand Bhosle and her granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle.

A Firstpost report revealed that Asha Bhosle’s son, Anand, manages all her business affairs and will be the heir. Her assets include luxurious properties in Mumbai and Pune, as well as her famous international restaurant chain, Asha. The legendary singer had a high-end financial legacy over a career spanning several decades. According to an NDTV report, Asha Bhosle’s net worth is around Rs. 250 crore, and her earnings are mainly from her long career in the Hindi music industry.

Asha Bhosle has had an extensive body of work in the music industry. She has crooned songs across a wide range of genres, including ghazals, classical compositions, cabaret, and pop, and has remained an icon across generations. Asha Bhosle, till the last leg of her life, did not leave music and performed live in cities such as Dubai, Trinidad, the United States, and Canada. The singer was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital, and reports had surfaced that she had suffered a cardiac arrest. However, Dr Prateet Samdani, who was looking after Asha Bhosle, shared that her cause of demise was due to multiple organ failure. He had shared in a statement:

“It is sad news that Asha Bhosle has passed away today. She was suffering from multiple medical complications and died due to multi-organ failure.”

Asha Bhosle’s last rites were done at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Her son, Anand Bhosle, earlier in a statement mentioned that people could pay their last respects at her residence. Asha’s daughter, Varsha died by suicide in 2012. The singer was earlier admitted after her granddaughter, Zanai revealed that she was experiencing extreme exhaustion and a chest infection. Zanai, in her post, had requested her fans to give her family privacy. Zanai was hopeful that the ongoing treatment for Asha would make her come back home, but then the singer could not make it.
