Who Is Kannada Star, Darshan’s Ex-Manager Mallikarjuna? Went Missing For 8 Yrs, Wife Suggested Dying

Famous Kannada actor, Darshan is serving a jail term after he was found guilty in the Renukaswamy murder case. While fans often try to dig more about Darshan, for a long time, reports about his ex-manager, Mallikarjuna’s disappearance, raised many eyebrows. People wanted to know where he had disappeared, as he had no contact with his family.

Now, after eight years of going silent, Mallikarjuna bared his heart out about what happened to him in these eight years and why he disappeared from the limelight. It is worth mentioning that Mallikarjuna had disappeared in 2018 and was accused of a fraud of around Rs. 1 crore during the distribution of the film, Prema Baraha.

Who is Mallikarjuna?

Mallikarjuna served as a manager for actor Darshan, but in 2018, he vanished from the limelight. There was no trace of him, and his family had also no idea about him. Mallikarjuna was married and also had a child. Recently, in a press conference, he shared his story. His disappearance made many suspicious, and they asked for an investigation into the matter. 

Mallikarjuna revealed he had a loan of Rs. 8 crores, and his wife suggested dying

In the press conference, Mallikarjuna shared that he had been through the worst phase of his life as he had a Rs. 8 crore loan. However, his wife had no idea about it, but when she found out about the same, she insisted that it would be a loss to their dignity and they should die. 

Mallikarjuna revealed that dying also needs courage, and he had a son who was studying in LKG back then. When they decided to die, the family received a call from his hometown and that her brother’s wedding was fixed. So, they thought of postponing their plans. He said:

“I had taken a loan of more than 8 crores. My wife did not know about this. As soon as she found out, she insisted, ‘It will be a loss of dignity. Let’s die.’ Even dying requires courage. I did not have the courage. I have an only son. He was still studying in LKG. Just when I thought I was going to die, my wife received a call from her hometown. My wife’s brother (my father’s mother) had a marriage fixed. There was an event to get married in 6 days. So we called her post-death program. We thought that if we died, their marriage would stop. Then we went to the wedding.”

Mallikarjuna also revealed that it was during the wedding that they changed their minds about dying. After which, he told his wife that he was going somewhere but won’t die. Mallikarjuna further revealed that he was in trouble as he was in need of money. He sent the last messages to the people from whom he had lent money, and threw the SIM in the river. 

Mallikarjuna revealed that he searched for work in North India and took many odd jobs. Meanwhile, he would write letters to his wife and his parents. He added that in these eight years, his parents passed away, his grandparents passed away, his friend died, but he couldn’t come back as he was working and trying to figure things out.
