Brooke Hogan has said she regrets being left out of her father Hulk Hogan’s will, a choice made following previous disagreements between them. She says “I was actually scared for myself, my family, my safety”

Brooke Hogan has opened up about her regret at being excluded from her father Hulk Hogan’s will.

In July 2025, the wrestling icon – born Terry Gene Bollea – suffered a fatal heart attack while recuperating from an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion operation at his Florida home. The WWE Hall of Famer left behind his partner Sky Daily and his two children, Brooke and Nick Hogan.

In the months following his passing, Brooke has explained her remorse over the decision to remove herself from her father’s will, a choice made following previous disagreements between them.

During an appearance on the Hollywood Raw Podcast, the daughter of the wrestling superstar revealed [h/t TMZ]: “I regret that decision. Not because of the money — I’ve never been about the money — but because now I don’t have a seat at the table.”

She went on to explain that concerns over her personal safety influenced her choice to step away from the will, particularly regarding her views on how his estate’s finances would be managed, reports the Mirror US.

“There were situations that had me so scared. I really took myself off the wheel because No. 1, I was actually scared for myself, my family, my safety,” she continued. “First of all, there’s not enough money in the world that would matter with what I felt I was facing. There were just too many people that I had solid knowledge of not being good people around my dad and I tried to tell him and I felt that if I created any more waves that I would be in danger and that’s for sure.”

Her remarks follow reports that she had requested his financial manager to exclude her from Hulk Hogan’s will following disagreements over the people surrounding the wrestling icon. The younger Hogan harboured distrust towards those in his inner circle and sought to safeguard herself from individuals with questionable intentions.

Hulk Hogan felt his daughter didn’t have his welfare at heart, causing a rift between them that lasted until his passing in 2025. She remains entitled to a modest life insurance trust established by the WWE icon, with Brooke Hogan named as a beneficiary.

Following Hulk Hogan’s death, Nick Hogan, Brooke’s brother and the 71-year-old’s son, submitted legal paperwork to ensure his sister wouldn’t inherit anything further. “His decision is no surprise to me,” Brooke Hogan told TMZ. “It’s what I asked for, I stand by it with no regrets.”

Since that time, Brooke Hogan has reportedly been living in a hotel with her husband and their children.

Steven Oleksy discussed their present circumstances with Us Weekly, saying: “With my 14 years of professional hockey and her travel, this is nothing new for us. There’s a beautiful restaurant we frequent, and the twins and I have a solid routine.

“She’s been putting [in] long days. A few nights have [turned] into 3 a.m. to 4a.m., trying to knock out as much music as possible.”

He went on to say: “It is her true love and passion, and [she] has been gone from it because of things out of her control. [She is] very excited to bring the fans some updated music and [in] the new tracks she does a little bit of everything.”
