Sidharth Venugopal Dies At 41 Due To Neuroendocrine Cancer, Actor Leaves Behind His Mom And Brother

In a piece of heartbreaking news, Malayalam TV actor, Sidharth Venugopal died at the age of 41. The actor, according to multiple reports on social media, died due to neuroendocrine carcinoma cancer. For the unversed, it is a high-end cancer which usually happens from cells that merge the nerve and hormone-producing traits. The cancer usually occurs in the lungs, gastrointestinal tract, or pancreas. and is known by early metastasis and aggressive, rapid growth.

Sidharth Venugopal has left behind his mother and brother

Sidharth Venugopal, according to reports on social media, was undergoing treatment for his cancer for a couple of years. His sudden demise at the age of 41 has come as a shock to his fans. Sidharth was best known for his role in the famous show, Kasthooriman, and the actor was undergoing treatment for his cancer for the past couple of years. A report by the NDTV revealed that he left behind his mother and brother. It is unclear if Sidharth was married and had a wife but his demise left his family and friends were saddened. Tributes from people across the South industry have been pouring in as the actor was known for his on-screen roles. It was actress, Seema G Nair who had revealed that Sidharth Venugopal had passed away and in an emotional note on the social media, she spoke about standing by him through his illness and doing everything that could help him recover.

Actress, Seema G Nair revealed she was mentally exhausted but did not give up on Sidharth Venugopal 

Actress, Seema G Nair expressed her heartbreak and also revealed in her post of how she had to undergo her own sets of physical and emotional exhaustion. She felt it was painful to let the actor go, but his suffering ended, and her life was completely shattered. Seema G Nair, in her heart-wrenching note, sharing a picture of the actor, wrote:

“All hopes have faded… popular serial actor Siddharth Venugopal has journeyed to a painless world… for the past two years I fought for you, even when my mind and body were exhausted, I kept running to bring your life back… today God decided that you shouldn’t suffer anymore… I can’t bear it Siddharth, I am breaking down.”

Seema G Nair had been taking care of Sidharth Venugopal 

She did reveal in her post that Sidharth battled neuroendocrine carcinoma cancer. It was also actor, Kishor Sathya, who had paid a tribute to the TV actor and had penned on Facebook about how another artist had been lost too soon. Siddharth Venugopal was a familiar face to audiences through television serials. The actor did confirm that actress, Seema G Nair was looking after Sidharth Venugopal and wrote in his post:

“He had been battling cancer for some time. Our beloved Seema G Nair had been taking care of his health. The film industry has always stood by many people, including the late Sharanya, for their medical needs. I pray for Siddharth’s soul to rest in peace, and bow my head in gratitude to Seema G Nair’s kind heart.”

Speaking more about Sidharth Venugopal, he was from Chalakudy, located in Thrissur. The actor found his calling for acting back when he was in college. He was a presenter before he came into acting. His breakthrough role was with Kasthooriman, where his epic performance stole the hearts of the audience. Sidharth had created a household name for himself with Kasthooriman. He had created a household name for himself. His character was so loved that he moved away from his birth name, Vinish and changed it to Sidharth professionally.
