Madonna’s high from her impressive Coachella appearance alongside Sabrina Carpenter has turned to dismay after she revealed a number of outfits have gone missing

Madonna has revealed her devastation after outfits from Coachella disappeared. The Material Girl singer had been on a high following her successful appearance on stage in Indio, California, but is now praying for the return of her outfits.

Sharing a plea on Instagram, Madonna revealed there is a reward on offer for the return of the items. Taking to her Stories, the pop icon said: “Still flying high since Friday night at Coachella! Thank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible.

“Bringing Confessions Il back to where it began was such a thrill! This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing- my costume that was pulled from my personal archives – jacket, corset, dress and all other garments.”

She went on to say the items aren’t just clothes to her, but instead are “part of my history”. Madge added: “Other archival items from the same era went missing as well.

“I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul, will find these items and reach out to my team at: Infomaverick2026@gmail.com. I’m offering a reward for their safe return. Thank you with all My Heart.”

The songstress, 67, was a special guest as she performed a duet of Vogue, Like A Prayer and a song from Madonna’s new album Confessions II, set for release on July 3, alongside Sabrina Carpenter.

Madonna was dressed in purple lingerie for the occasion. And she told the crowd: “Twenty years ago today, I performed at Coachella – I was in the dance tent and it was the first time I performed Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part I in America and that was such a thrill for me.

“So you can imagine what a thrill it is for me to be back 20 years later… so it’s a like a full circle moment you know – very meaningful for me.”

Madonna’s new album is a continuation of Confessions on a Dance Floor, that was released in 2005. Madge revealed the first look last week. In the snaps, she was seen wearing a striking silver jacket and blue leotard, and the pop superstar clearly meant business.

Quoting the opening lines from the record’s lead single, One Step Away, Madonna said when teasing it: “People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.

“When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto.” The manifesto reads: “We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we’ve been doing for thousands of years — they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space.

“It’s a place where you connect with your wounds, with your fragility. To rave is an art. It’s about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people.

“Sound, light, and vibration reshape our perceptions, pulling us into a trance-like state. The repetition of the bass, we don’t just hear it, but we feel it. Altering our consciousness and dissolving ego and time.”
