St George Illawarra assistant coach Michael Ennis has left the club just a day after head coach Shane Flanagan moved on.
Ennis, who was touted as an option to replace Flanagan in a long-term role, is the latest member of the Dragons’ brains trust to depart. His departure follows that of Flanagan and football general manager Ben Haran.
Ennis was a part of the 2016 Cronulla premiership-winning team that Flanagan coached, and the pair were close.
