270 Tribal Welfare Students Clear JEE Main

Hyderabad:As many as 270 students from the Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGTWREIS) have qualified for JEE Advanced.

Among the top performers, K. Shiva Prasad secured 99.15 percentile, Dheeravath Siddu 94.70, Pathlavath Yogiraj Naik 93.33 and Chowhan Praveen 93.01. A total of 35 students achieved percentiles between 80 and 90.

The results were appreciated by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, tribal welfare minister Adluri Laxman Kumar and special chief secretary Sabyasachi Ghosh.

Meanwhile, the department of school education said eight students from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) have qualified for JEE Advanced, marking a milestone in promoting quality education among girls from disadvantaged backgrounds.
