Sinitta gave a touching insight into Jimmy Bullard’s decision to leave I’m A Celebrity South Africa – and wishes he had shared it with camp. The ’80s icon opened up on life inside the jungle with her fellow celebs, and expressed her delight at meeting Jimmy, who became the latest to leave the show after uttering the words I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
And she pleaded with the former footballer to attend the final on Friday, with speculation he is set to miss it. In an Instagram upload, Sinitta admitted she loved setting pranks with Jimmy, especially at Harry Redknapp’s expense.
But away from the joking, and “uncontrollable fits of laughter”, she said she wished he had opened up to the others in the same way he did with her. Sinitta said: “Oh Jimmy, I loved meeting you.

“Highlights were plotting together to prank Harry and getting the Camp on board with uncontrollable fits of laughter through the day as we imagined it all unfolding.
“Water fights in the Waterfall Oasis and Riding in the black out Jeep trying to console you about your father. It meant a lot that you opened up to me on the way to this trial and I wish you had been able to tell everyone as then they may have understood why your heart over ruled your head and you needed to go.”
She added: “I hope your Father is healing. I hope you come to the finals and remeber [sic] how much fun we all had and how much you are loved by us all . Even @adamthomas21.”
Her mention of Adam comes as the soap star almost lost his place in camp due to Jimmy forfeiting the challenge. It left Adam furiously calling out the ex sports star.
After pairing up for the challenges ahead, Ant and Dec told how each duo had to get cogs out from an abacus then hand them to their partners to run and put them on a box. The last pair to finish would be evicted.
But shortly after the trial began Jimmy told the presenters: “Boys, I don’t think I have got it in me.” With the other pairs well underway getting their cogs, Jimmy hadn’t moved from his starting point.
He told his partner: “Sorry Ad, so sorry. I’m a celebrity get me out of here,” and Adam replied: “Are you joking me bro? Jim c’mon man.”
Host Ant then added: “You gotta think of Adam here, in the cage. He doesn’t want to go. He’s enjoying himself.” But Jimmy just apologised again, leaving his fellow campmates in shock.
Stunned Adam, realising this meant he was set to be leaving the show said: “Jim don’t do this bro. Come on. Is that how we are going out?” Anger growing he added: “You f***ing taking the p***? I am in there getting covered in f***ing ants.”
Jimmy replied: “Calm down, that is pathetic.” But Adam then said: “P***k. I have done all that for him…if you wanted to go, f***ing go. Don’t take me with you.”
The fury continued as a despondent Jimmy told his pal: “I choose when I come and when I go.”
The scenes divided viewers. Both camp mates received backing – and backlash – online for how they handled the situation.
