According to reports, Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor is allegedly going to play the role of Madhuri Jain Grover in an upcoming biopic based on BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover, which will most likely feature Aamir Khan in the lead role, and is being developed by the filmmaker Rahul Mody.

According to reports from Bollywood Hungama, the actress had been associated with the project since its initial stages. As per sources, Shraddha was always considered the first choice for the female lead and has been keeping a close eye on the screenplay as it progresses over time.

The film will revolve around the journey of Ashneer Grover as an entrepreneur, along with the controversies surrounding his exit from BharatPe in the year 2022. During that time, he was allegedly accused of misusing the company’s funds involving him and his family. As per reports, Madhuri Jain Grover, who had served as the company’s head of controls, was also terminated during the same period.

Rahul Mody, who is also known for co-writing Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018), has been shaping the screenplay for nearly three years. The filmmaker is also rumoured to be in a relationship with Shraddha Kapoor.

The project has been creating a lot of buzz since Bollywood actor Aamir Khan expressed his interest in considering the Ashneer Grover biopic as his next film. As per reports from Bollywood Hungama, “Aamir has read it and loved it; he is doing this film. It’s in the pre-production stage. It’s also very relatable as Ashneer is an extremely popular figure with today’s audience.”

Although the updates about the film have intrigued the fans quite a bit, the official announcement from the makers of the film is still pending, leaving fans eagerly waiting for its final confirmation.
