A heavily strapped Marcus Bontempelli will take his place in the Western Bulldogs’ side tonight after completing a strong warm-up.
Bontempelli has his a bunch of strapping on his right knee after taking a knock to it last week and there were some concerns he could be a late withdrawal but Fox Footy is reporting he will play.

High-flying Swans preparing for bruised Bulldogs’ best
Sydney are preparing for Marcus Bontempelli’s best, giving no thought to the Western Bulldogs superstar being a late withdrawal.
Bontempelli has been under an injury cloud since the Bulldogs’ “traumatic” night at Geelong last Friday.
The Bulldogs captain was on light duties during the club’s main training session at Whitten Oval on Tuesday.
Bontempelli dealt with knee soreness during the 75-point belting to the Cats, a game where they lost star forward Sam Darcy to a season-ending ACL rupture.

Good evening and welcome
G’day everyone and welcome to our AFL live blog as we begin round seven with a clash between the Bulldogs and Swans at Marvel Stadium.

It’s also a historic night for the Dogs as they celebrate the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough premiership in 2016.
First bounce is set for 7.30pm AEST. Enjoy the night to come.
