The makers of the upcoming movie Krishnavataram have unveiled the film’s first track, titled Prem Ki Leela. After a trailer launch that took place at the Krishna Janmabhoomi, the release of this song marks the next phase in the film’s musical and narrative journey.
Prem Ki Leela is designed to offer a glimpse into the emotional depth of the film, exploring the multifaceted nature of divine love. Rather than portraying love as a singular emotion, the song highlights the layered relationships Krishna shares with Radha, Satyabhama, and Rukmini. The musical composition is helmed by Prasad Shashte, with the Thumri composed by Swaradhish Dr. Bharat Balvalli. The lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil, featuring a vocal lineup of Shreya Ghoshal, Javed Ali, and Suvarna Tiwari. The music has been released on Saregama, with global distribution handled by AA Films. Krishnavataram is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on May 7, 2026. As the first song of the movie, Prem Ki Leela sets the tone for the film’s expansive and layered emotional landscape.
