Hyderabad:The city traffic police, in coordination with Tolichowki police, booked a 43‑year‑old driver for using a fake registration number plate on his two‑wheeler to evade traffic penalties and mislead enforcement authorities.
The accused, Mohammed Moinuddin of Tolichowki, was found using a false plate on his two-wheeler instead of the original registration. Police said he deliberately displayed the fake number to avoid traffic fines and escape finance recovery agents. Verification revealed that multiple challans had been wrongly issued against the actual owner of the registered vehicle bearing that number.
