ATLANTA — There was a lot of talk Friday about desperation or, as Miles McBride phrased it ahead of Game 4, “playing for our lives.” There was also talk all season about sacrifice, about removing ego for the betterment of the team.
Both are relevant to the question of the day, and perhaps the question that will determine the Knicks’ season:
Should Mike Brown finally change the starting lineup?
The answer, after careful deliberation, is “Yes.” Specifically, it’s time to swap out Mikal Bridges for Miles McBride. There’s too much at stake to lend more rope to a player — Bridges — who has looked utterly lost and overwhelmed for much of the series, especially in the Game 3 debacle.
