After collaborating with top Telugu stars like Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas, People Media Factory is now making a strong push into Bollywood. The production house has reportedly signed a two-film deal with action star Tiger Shroff, signaling its intent to expand beyond regional cinema.
According to sources, the first project is expected to roll soon. “They have signed a two-film deal with Tiger Shroff, and one film will start immediately,” says a source.
Both films are said to be mounted on a grand scale, tapping into Tiger’s established action persona. “Both the films will be big-budget entertainers and will exploit the larger-than-life action image of Tiger Shroff, which he built with films like the Baaghi franchise and War. A star-centric action film is being readied,” the source adds.
The banner had earlier partnered in the Bollywood film Jaat, starring Sunny Deol, alongside Mythri Movie Makers. This collaboration is said to have helped them understand the Hindi market better. “People Media Factory has built strong brand value. They’ve made films across industries and are now focusing big on Bollywood,” the source notes.
Producer T. G. Vishwa Prasad now joins the growing list of Telugu producers—like Mythri Movie Makers and Dil Raju—who are actively exploring Bollywood projects. Meanwhile, Mythri is reportedly planning a sequel to Jaat. “Sunny Deol was happy with Mythri Movie Makers and has agreed to collaborate again. Script work for Jaat 2 is underway,” the source reveals.
In another major crossover, Salman Khan has teamed up with director Vamshi Paidipally and producer Dil Raju for a big-budget entertainer under Sri Venkateswara Creations. Actress Nayanthara has joined as the female lead. The film, tentatively titled #SVC63, has already begun shooting in Mumbai. “The team has started a massive month-long schedule on a grand set in Mumbai. High-octane action sequences and key portions are being filmed, setting the tone for a high-energy cinematic experience,” the source concludes.
