Former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Vogue Williams revealed she was compared to Donald Trump in a trolling ordeal, as she spoke out against the person responsible

Vogue Williams has questioned whether her reaction to online harassment went too far after enduring abusive messages for more than two years. The 40-year-old presenter, who recently shared news of expecting her fourth child with Spencer Matthews, revealed she has been subjected to cruel comparisons to Donald Trump.

Speaking on the Vogue and Amber podcast, she told listeners: “There’s a woman that has been trolling me since 2023 and I only noticed yesterday and I was like, Jesus Christ, that is a dirty message!”

The TV personality read out one particularly vicious example: “She’s been sending me messages, here is, for instance, ‘You’re an image of Donald Trump, you must be related to him with that mouth of yours. Greed is a terrible thing’. No context on the message,” she explained.

Following a post where Vogue tagged beauty editor and aesthetician Triona McCarthy, the persistent troll escalated their attacks on her appearance.

“[She said] ‘Triona might give you some tips on improving your looks, werewolf eyebrows, a horn on your face and gums galore’. I was like Jesus Christ.”

Upon discovering the individual’s Instagram profile, Vogue admitted she recognised them and decided to take a different action against the culprit.

“I was going to blast her, because I have a new thing where if you’re really bad… like if you’re a real d**k head for no reason. Because fair enough, sometimes I can be annoying, I expect a little bit of abuse and I usually call people out on Instagram, but with her I thought I don’t think I’ll do that,” she explained.

Instead, Vogue revealed she’d taken a different approach by contacting some of their shared connections to alert them to what was happening.

“So then her family and friends will know she’s a complete f*****g lunatic who is spending her time trolling people on the internet, she’s in a picture with her grandchild, I’m like come on,” she added.

The model then questioned whether her response had been excessive, while simultaneously standing by her decision.

Speaking to Amber, the former wife of Brian McFadden continued: “I just think letting their family know… Imagine you found out by somebody that I had been sending these rotten messages to them, you’d be like, ‘Oh my God, I thought I [knew] you but I don’t’.”

She also implied the individual must be deeply “unhappy” to engage in such toxic behaviour online.

This isn’t the first occasion the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star has addressed online abuse.

Back in February, a social media user branded her as someone “leeching off men” for exposure and money.

Hitting back, Vogue said: “Well you’re certainly not doing well on the nice front! Go check MY company accounts and then come back and tell me I’m leeching off men. See you at the parade hun!

“I’m never sure of the motive or need for people to publicly scrutinise someone they know nothing about. It’s so s**t.”

She added: “I’m sick of seeing horrible cr** on the internet and people just abusing other people because they feel like it. This person should practice being a nice person a bit more.”
