Photos: Aamir Khan Gets Emotional At Ek Din Ki Mehfil Calls Sai Pallavi Best Actress

Aamir Khan was present today at the Ek Din Ki Mehfil event with his son Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi. The duo stars in the upcoming film Ek Din, and today’s event featured a live performance showcase from the project. 

This marks Junaid’s third film and his second theatrical release after Loveyapa. Needless to say, the proud father appeared emotional and overwhelmed. Several videos and photos from the event have gone viral. In one of the clips, Aamir is seen getting visibly emotional during a performance, with tears in his eyes as he softly hums along to the song. 

At one point, he wipes his tears with his T-shirt, while Sai Pallavi and Junaid are seen speaking to him and comforting him. During the event, the actress also opened up about the film and shared that since this is her first Hindi film, she is feeling a bit nervous.
Furthermore, the veteran actor heaped praises on the cast and the crew, and said, “For me, Sai is the best actress we have in our country today. Zunaid bhi thik thak hai. Woh mera beta hai toh kuch bol nahi sakta (Even Junaid is okay, but he is my son, so I can’t say much).”
