Nikola Jokic thought he lost more than just Game 4.
Following the Nuggets’ 112-96 loss to the Timberwolves, the Serbian center thought a particularly important item of clothing had gone missing after getting out of the shower.
“Someone stole my underwear,’’ Jokic said in the locker room, according to The Athletic.
Thankfully, Jokic soon found his underwear in his locker, but it was an otherwise difficult night for the three-time MVP.
He shot just 8-of-22 from the field for 24 points — and committed four turnovers — as Minnesota moved to within one game of advancing to the Western Conference semifinals.
Through four games, Jokic has shot an uncharacteristic 39.1 percent from the field and 18.5 percent from three while scoring 25 points and coughing up four turnovers a contest.
His Game 4 also ended in ignominy as he was ejected following a skirmish with Jaden McDaniels and other Minnesota players.

Jokic was angered after McDaniels scored a garbage-time layup in the final seconds of the game and caused a minor fracas when he raced to the other end of the court and shoved his opponent.
Minnesota’s Julius Randle was ejected from the contest, too.
The Nuggets will look to stay alive on Monday night as they return to Denver for a pivotal Game 5.
