Previous footage of Jimmy Bullard’s antics in the I’m A Celebrity jungle in 2014 has resurfaced as fans complain about his past behaviour in camp
Jimmy Bullard has become embroiled in a huge I’m A Celebrity fallout following his decision to quit the latest All Stars edition. But viewers have quickly discovered past footage of the former footballer’s uncomfortable interactions from his first spell in camp.
Back in 2014 Jimmy made a point of calling out former X Factor singer Jake Quickenden, suggesting he did not deserve to be in the line-up. In a clip that is being shared online, Jimmy says: “The more I’m getting to know you, the more I’m thinking what the f*** is this pr*** doing in here?”
He went on: “What’s he offering? Like what, why the f*** are you in here? What are you? What sort of skill have you got?”

Jimmy continues: “World champ, fair enough. Professional footy player. What the f*** have you done? Picked a mic up?” he asks his co-star. Jimmy said Jake was ‘buckled’ by his comments which he called ‘banter.’
Jake told the ex sportsman that he said the same thing when he was asked to join the ITV show. “I don’t even know why I’m here myself,” Jake humbly told Jimmy.
One user who shared the clip on Twitter/X wrote: “Let’s look back at more of @jimmybullard bullying ways shall we!? #imaceleb #bullying #imacelebrity.”
And another on Instagram said: “Can we all just take a second to remember how Jimmy Bullard also treated Jake Quickenden? I’ll just leave this here. ‘Banter though innit’ #imaceleb #imacelebrity.”
Jimmy had been calling out Adam Thomas‘ behaviour in the South Africa edition of the show. The ex-Fulham star decided he had had enough and said the famous phrase to leave camp.
But in doing so, he was set to take the Waterloo Road star home with him, causing the actor to rage at what was happening. While Adam went on to be crowned winner of the show, Jimmy found himself allegedly kicked off the final for calling out the moment and claiming ITV had wrongly edited the scenes.
Jimmy accused Adam of being “abusive, aggressive and intimidating”. He then asked what hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly thought of what happened, but Jimmy wasn’t happy with Ant’s response.
A source has now said that the former sports star is considering suing ITV for what was aired on the show. They said: “He wanted everyone to see the shocking unedited version of the fight. Adam swore at him multiple times and most bystanders were shocked by his actions so Jimmy felt it was the last chance for viewers to see the full extent of his behaviour.
“He was hugely disappointed in Ant and Dec for appearing to take Adam’s side and feels like he has been made a scapegoat. Jimmy isn’t an angry person but he will stand up for what’s right.”
Speaking to The Sun, the insider went on: “He is talking to lawyers and looking into his ITV contract to see what grounds there are to sue.”
A spokesman for ITV said: “We showed an accurate and fair representation of events.”
