Amid that, Manoj Bajpayee has confirmed that he will be returning as ‘Srikanth Tiwari’ for another round of drama, with Season 4. His statement suggesting that the new season will be filled with intense action and dramatic moments has further increased curiosity. He also made it clear that the project is currently in the planning stage and the script is still being written.

When will The Family Man Season 4 be out?

Created by Raj & DK, The Family Man revolves around the story of ‘Srikant Tiwari’, a middle-class man who secretly works as an intelligence officer in the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell. A fictional unit set to have a link to national investigative operations. The cast features Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role, with a stellar supporting cast that includes Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Neeraj Madhav, Sharad Kelkar, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja, and Shreya Dhanwanthary in key roles.

While the announcement of The Family Man Season 4 has left fans excited, there haven’t been any official details on its release date. However, it is expected that the new season may take around one to two years to arrive. There is also a buzz stating that this could be the series’s final season. However, the makers have not yet confirmed it.

What happened in The Family Man Season 1

The first season of The Family Man was released in September 2019. The show released on Prime Videos introduced ‘Srikanth Tiwari’s’ dual life as a family man and secret agent working alongside ‘JK Talpade’. The story followed their mission to stop a major terrorist attack linked to ‘Mission Zulfiqar’. At the same time, the season focused on his personal struggles, especially the challenge of keeping his real identity hidden from his family.

The Family Man Season 2 explored ‘Srikanth Tiwari’s’ attempts to leave his risky job

The Family Man Season 2 was released in June 2021 and explored a more emotional aspect of ‘Srikanth Tiwari’s’ life, including his attempt to quit his risky job. The secret agent tries to work a regular IT job in an attempt to fix his marriage. However, with emerging threats involving ISI operatives, he was forced back into the world of risks. One of the major surprises for this season was Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s introduction as ‘Raji’. The story built up to a tense situation involving a possible plane attack, while also showing ‘Srikanth’ struggling to balance his responsibilities towards the nation and his family.

When ‘Srikanth Tiwari’ questioned his loyalty in The Family Man Season 3

Season 3 brought even more shockers for the fans. Released in November 2025, the script followed a large-scale event unravelling in Northeast India, involving geopolitical tensions with neighbouring regions. However, the national security concerns were not the only thing bugging our hero this season. ‘Srikanth’ also faced personal dilemmas, including questions about his loyalty. The show introduced Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur to add depth to the storyline. A key plotline involved a drug trafficker named ‘Rukma’. The season also showed the tragic death of Srikanth’s mentor. The climax left viewers with a major cliffhanger: ‘Srikanth’ was seriously injured, his fate remained uncertain, while ‘Rukma’ managed to escape.
