The Radford family are celebrating after hearing all about a romantic proposal in Paris – and fans can’t wait to hear all about the wedding planning and honeymoon

Wedding bells are chiming for Britain’s biggest family as Katie Radford celebrates her engagement to boyfriend Connor Carter. The 23-year-old, who is one of Sue and Noel Radford’s 22 children, said ‘yes’ to her boyfriend’s Paris proposal before sharing the happy news on social media.

In an Instagram post, the Radford family’s official account said: “Katie said YES. So excited for Katie and Connor. Huge congratulations to you both, exciting times ahead.” The photo shows Katie’s new, sparkling ring with the Eiffel Tower in the background. The engagement comes after the arrival of their “dream baby” son Ronnie Hudson Carter, who arrived in 2024 after they had been together for six years.

Commenting on the post, one user said: “The best news. Many congratulations to you both.”

Another user added: “Congratulations to Katie and Connor, lovely news.”

A third user said: “We’re so excited for you Katie sending you the biggest blessings.”

One more user added: “I absolutely love this. Congratulations Katie and Connor (and Ronnie).”

The proposal comes less than a year after Katie was thought to have split from Connor, as she’d removed all trace of him from her Instagram.

Fans claimed she made a dig at him in July last year for making “little to no effort” with little Ronnie, after uploading a video captioned: “Only them missing out, not Ron.”

She then wrote: “One of the most hurtful things as a mum is seeing people who you thought would see your kid all the time make little to no effort.”

However, after seeing her fan’s reaction to this online update, she debunked the rumours, saying: “Just to clarify, this isn’t about his dad, he still sees his dad.”

On the family’s TV show, the couple spoke about their pregnancy, with Connor admitting: “I didn’t think I’d ever be a young dad… scared.”

In response, Katie said: “It is a big change. I’m scared. I don’t think anyone’s ever ready for a kid.”

Following up, Connor added: “I don’t really do well with change. I don’t like it. I’m still a kid, I’ve not grown up yet.

“I don’t think I’m ready now, I don’t think in five years time I’d be ready, but it’s something that’s going to have to change really.”
