SNL Writer, Jimmy Fowlie’s 38-YO Missing Sister, Christina Was Found Dead, Investigation Begins

Saturday Night Live writer, Jimmy Fowlie’s sister, Christina, went missing four months back, and a missing person’s report was filed in December 2025 with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). While there was no update about the same from then, recently, on April 29, 2026, Jimmy took to his social media handle and shared a lengthy note to announce that his sister had passed away. 

Currently, the case is being investigated as a homicide, as reported. Speaking of Jimmy, he is known for writing an SNL episode including, A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter and others. Apart from that, he also penned and acted in a comedic web series, Go-Go Boy Interrupted. Jimmy Fowlie was also seen in comedy shows, including The Other Two, 2 Broke Girls, English Teacher, and The Goldbergs. 

Saturday Night Live writer, Jimmy Fowlie’s sister, reported dead four months after a mysterious disappearance 

For the unversed, SNL writer, Fowlie, back in December 2025, shared a post, wherein he added that his sister, Christina, was last seen in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles, and they had interacted last in November 2025. Back then, Fowlie also revealed that his sister was active on social media till December 15, 2025, after which she went missing. Well, as per his latest statement on social media, LAPD recently informed them that Christina was found dead, and that the case has been transitioned from a missing person’s case to homicide. Fowlie, in his note, revealed that he and his family believe that his sister’s phone and social media were compromised before she went missing.

What exactly happened to Saturday Night Live writer, Jimmy Fowlie’s sister?

According to Fowlie, the person who might be involved in this case had access to Christina’s phone and social media, which was used to make others believe that she was fine and to ask for money, stating she was ‘off the grid’. Fowlie mentioned that he believes the person responsible might have wanted to erase Christina’s existence in every possible way. Fowlie further called his sister to be a beautiful person, mentioning that she could no longer advocate for herself, and asking people to speak more about her story and to show courage to come forward and speak, if anything is known.

In his post, he further shared a series of photos from his and his sister’s childhood days, and stated that he would take a step back from social media, and thus, asked people to report directly to the LAPD. An excerpt from his long note could be read as:

“I want to amplify her story in the only way I know how. And to express that she was a beautiful person who matters in this world, especially to me. I also believe there is a chance that someone who knows something might find the courage to step forward. My sister can no longer advocate for herself, but I can and I hope you will too. The best way you could support me in this moment is to share this post and to talk about her story. Thank you.”

To mention, Christina was married, as shared by Jimmy Fowlie. In a post from December, Jimmy said that while his sister was married, she used the ‘Fowlie’ surname. He often used to share updates on social media, and revealed once that she had no history of mental illness or abruptly cutting her close ones off. Fowlie revealed that he had been thinking about her every day while also sharing more details about her.
