Sambhavna Seth had multiple failed IVFs
Ever since her father’s death, Sambhavna had been trying to have a baby, as it was his last wish. However, in the process of conceiving, Sambhavna suffered several miscarriages. However, she went to have IVF to treat her fertility issues. However, the actress underwent seven failed IVF attempts.
Sambhavna Seth had a fatal miscarriage
Despite her failed IVF attempts, Sambhavna didn’t lose hope, and after seven failed IVFs, she conceived. She and her husband, Avinash, were thrilled with the news and decided to announce the same on social media. She had even done a photoshoot to announce the pregnancy as they had completed three months, but life had other plans.
Before she could announce the news, Sambhavna realised that she had a miscarriage. When the actress appeared on Gauahar Khan’s podcast, Sambhavna talked about her traumatic miscarriage and revealed that it happened due to the doctor’s negligence. In the interaction, Sambhavna revealed that she underwent 2-3 scans as she had been bleeding during the course of her pregnancy, but her doctor assured her that everything was fine.

Sambhavna Seth took 65 injections in three months during her pregnancy
After so many miscarriages, Sambhavna and Avinash desperately wished to be parents, and she did everything to become a mother. While Sambhavna and Avinash announced the news of their miscarriage, Sambhavna revealed that she had about 65 injections over a three-month period. Speaking about the same, Avinash shared:
“It was very painful for her. She would get injected 2-3 times every day.

But 15 days before the final scan, Sambhavna got terribly ill and suffered excruciating pain in her upper back. However, her doctor kept saying that it was because if her arthritis. But it was her ortho who told Sambhavna that the pain wasn’t because of the arthritis and was a sign of a miscarriage. When she went for a pre-genetic test, her world was turned upside down because she got to know that she was carrying an abnormal embryo, and its growth stopped at the neck. Its heartbeat too was lost 15 days before the final scan.
Furthermore, in the podcast, Sambhavna revealed that when she visited the doctor, she didn’t even apologise and simply called it ‘unfortunate’. She mentioned that the doctor pointed out that it happened due to her anxiety and arthritis problems, instead of negligence in not doing a pre-genetic test of the embryo. As soon as they got to know about the Miscarriage, Sambhavna underwent a critical surgery to take out the unborn child.
Sambhavna Seth finally chose surrogacy to become a mother
After multiple failed IVFs and miscarriages, Sambhavna Seth went for surrogacy to embrace motherhood. On April 30, 2026, Sambhavna Seth took to her IG handle and announced the happiest news of her life. Sharing a twinning picture with her husband, the two posed with a newspaper cutout with the headline ‘Sam Avi’s baby coming soon, breaking news, we’re pregnant’. Along with the pictures, Sambhavna revealed that they have opted for surrogacy.
