The company, JPMorgan and its employee, Lorna Hajdini are currently the talk-of-the-town, but for all the wrong reasons. Recently, a former junior employee of JPMorgan accused Lorna of racial discrimination and sexual assault. Apart from this, the former employee claimed that Lorna also said harsh comments to his wife. Amid that, a viral post claims that amid the allegations, Lorna is planning to move to India. Well, know the truth behind it.

A while ago, a X (formerly Twitter) user named Hoops Crave shared a post, in which he claimed that Lorna is all set to move to India, amid the serious allegations against her. The post instantly grabbed attention and invited a lot of edited memes by fans. One user commented, “US is not safe anymore, that’s why people are fleeing to Dubai, India etc.”

Another user shared, “Nooo Lorna I’m starting soon! Wait for me!” A third user penned, “Great move to escape law.” A fourth user wrote, “We don’t need her in India, please.”However, a report by Poprant claims that the viral post shared by Hoops Crave is just a rumour and there is no evidence for the same. Considering the current situation, Hoops Crave shared a post about Lorna moving to India as a joke.

Sexual assault allegations against Lorna Hajdini

Recently, a former junior employee of JPMorgan accused the executive director of the same, Lorna Hajdini of discrimination and sexual assault. Reportedly, the former employee named John Doe claimed that Lorna misused her power and sexually assaulted him despite being married. According to him, Lorna also threatened him to end his career.

One such day, Lorna was assaulting him at his apartment and while he was crying so that she stops; however, Lorna allegedly shared that no one would believe him. Later, she compared her body with his wife’s and said, “I bet your little Asian, fish head, wife doesn’t have these cannons.” The former employee also claimed that he had been dealing with such inappropriate behaviour since 2024.

As of now, JPMorgan has denied all the allegations stating that an internal investigation based on email and phone records will happen. On the other hand, according to a report by Poprant, Lorna Hajdini has denied all the accusations and has explained that she was “never engaged in any inappropriate conduct”. Further, she revealed that she was not present at the locations that are in question right now. However, a legal case has been filed and it looks like it will be stretched till 2027.

Lorna Hajdini is a 37-year-old executive director at JPMorgan. Reportedly, she works in the finance section and has been in the industry for nearly 15 years. She joined JPMorgan in 2011 and eventually became the executive director. According to reports, she studied finance and statistics at New York University’s Stern School of Business and later attended Harvard Business School.

On the other hand, the victim, who is referred to as John Doe, is a 35-year-old investment professional. Reports claim that his real name is Chirayu Rana. Over the years, he has worked in multiple companies like Credit Suisse, The Carlyle Group and more. Most recently, he worked as a Principal at a private equity firm, Bregal Sagemount. Coming to his education, he holds a B.S. in Finance from Rutgers Business School. For those who do not know, he was married.
