Priyadarshan denies rift with Tabu

Fans of Tabu are shocked by her abbreviated role in Bhooth Bangla. The story doing the rounds in the film industry is that the actress is extremely upset with the way her role has shaped up. But director Priyadarshan denies that there’s any rift between them.
He said, “She knew what her role was before shooting, and whatever I shot with her in the film, she has no problem with it.” Why would Tabu sign up for a role barely 15 minutes long? But this isn’t the first time he has cast her in an extended cameo. Back in 2000, she reportedly agreed to do Hera Pheri largely out of goodwill for the director.
In Bhooth Bangla, Tabu was reportedly assured that she would be “given her due.” But the end result doesn’t justify her presence.
