It’s a real Montagues and Capulets situation as rumors continue to swirl around Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean and Cowboys cheerleader Abby Summer, who the NFL star is believed to be seeing.
Now the two were seen at the Kentucky Derby over the weekend, potentially confirming the romance between two people on the opposite sides of one of the NFC East’s biggest rivalries.
Dating rumors first started in March when DeJean and Summers were spotted at the Elite Eight game between Iowa — the Eagles’ star’s alma mater — and Illinois.
On Saturday, Summers posted a short video on TikTok with DeJean as the pair showed off thei outfits they were sporting to the Kentucky Derby.
Summers captioned the post, “Derby timeeee.”
The two were also photographed on the red carpet as they arrived at Churchill Downs, alongside three other people.
The TikTok drew plenty of reactions and several of Summers’ Cowboys cheerleader teammates seemed to confirm that the two were in fact a couple.
“Derby day aka hard launch day,” cheer teammate Kleine Powell wrote in the comments.
Fellow teammate McKenna Gehrke wrote: “BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!”
And Ariel Brumfield called the two “the cutest ever” in a comment on the TikTok video.
Neither DeJean nor Summers has ever officially confirmed their relationship and had remained mum during the first round of speculation after the NCAA basketball game outing.
Following the first sighting, former Eagles center Jason Kelce made fun of the situation in a post on X.
“He’s pulling a Trojan Horse,” Kelce wrote while quoting a post that had a photo of DeJean and Summers together at the Iowa game.
This is not the first time that DeJean’s private life has garnered the attention of the public.
DeJean was rumored to be seeing 42-year-old WWE star Nikki Bella after she posed for a picture with him at Eagles training camp last summer.
He later called her a “good friend” during an interview with Kay Adams on “Up & Adams.”
