Thiruvananthapuram : Celebrations erupted at the Congress headquarters, Indira Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram, with a large number of workers cheering their leaders on their remarkable victory.
Opposition Leader V. D. Satheeshan, Ramesh Chennithala, and K. C. Venugopal arrived at the KPCC headquarters in separate processions, where workers garlanded them and carried them on their shoulders.
A giant screen was set up on the premises of Indira Bhavan for workers to watch the results live. After nearly a decade of quiet, the KPCC headquarters came alive with the UDF’s win, as workers distributed sweets and payasam, warmly greeting voters.
