It was in 2024 that Huma’s dating speculations with acting coach Rachit Singh began to hit the headlines. Huma and Rachit kept their relationship hush-hush, and even though they were spotted together, they never openly spoke about their relationship.

It was last year, when speculations about Huma and Rachit’s engagement were up as well. While it was kept a private affair, now the buzz is rife that Huma and Rachit are all set to get married, and that too, within a few months. Yes! You read it right.

Recently, a report by Hindustan Times revealed that Huma Qureshi and Rachit Singh are all set to get married this year only. If the reports are to be believed, the couple is aiming for an October or November wedding, and the preparations have already begun. The sources revealed that Huma will possibly opt for an intimate wedding, followed by a lavish reception party. Reportedly, the soiree might take place in Mumbai. Sources could be quoted as saying:

“They are planning an October end or November wedding as of now. The preparations have begun. Knowing Huma she will have a good intimate wedding party and then throw a reception for the industry. May be not a lavish wedding but something that only her close friends and family will attend, followed by a big reception. As of now its most probably looking like Mumbai.”

For the unversed, Huma has been in the industry for over a decade now. She began her career as a model, and also in theatre. It was after a few years that she caught the attention of Anurag Kashyap, which led her to bag a role in Gangs of Wasseypur. This proved to be a massive breakthrough for Huma Qureshi, and she instantly grabbed the attention of the viewers. There has been no looking back for the actress ever since. Speaking of Rachit, he is an acting coach who has trained some famous Bollywood actors like Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, and Varun Dhawan.

Speaking about their relationship, there’s no official confirmation about the same, however, it was during Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer’s wedding when the duo grabbed attention with their matching ensemble. Soon, their dating speculations started to surface. Following this, Huma’s brother also shared some photos, featuring the duo, who looked simply delighted with each other. Several photos of the couple started to surface, and their public appearance also turned out to be a topic of attention, given their then-rumoured relationship. With time, people got used to seeing them together, and thus it was taken as a quiet ‘nod’ to their relationship.

It was last year, when speculations were rife that Huma and Rachit took their relationship forward. Hindustan Times reported that the couple had taken a step forward and decided to be each other’s forever, by sealing the deal with a proposal. Sources revealed to HT that the couple had an engagement in the US in the presence of their close ones, but they were not sure whether or not they would make it public. To mention, Rachit shares a close bond with Huma’s brother.
