The Devil Wears Prada 2 not only featured a cameo by supermodel, Heidi Klum but also showcased her love for fashion, film, and a good drink. For those unaware, Heidi partnered with the Vodka brand, Grey Goose, for a special cocktail to accompany her cameo. Even though her role was not that extensive, it just goes to show that even the smallest roles can create an impact when it comes to filmmaking. Speaking about her role, Heidi told People:

“I think Grey Goose came to me because I was in the first Devil Wears Prada movie, I mean, literally just the smallest little cameo. I was asked to come back again for The Devil Wears Prada 2 [and I] was so excited because they didn’t cut me out.”

Heidi revealed that at times, when you make cameos like this, and then you go and want it, you find out that your role has been reduced to the point that you can’t even find yourself. This is why Heidi said that she is super excited that she made the cut in The Devil Wears Prada 2. She bragged that even though it’s super short, she has her scene with Emily Blunt.

Coming back to Heidi’s collaboration with Grey Goose, the brand has created a special cocktail which was inspired by ‘Miranda Priestley’s’ infamous Starbucks order from the film, which goes like, “no foam, skimmed latte with an extra shot.” If you check out the drink in reality, though, it is actually a cool martini rather than “searing hot” as seen in the movie. Although it is worth noting that Grey Goose’s mix is aptly called The Devil’s Roast.

“Over the years, I’ve been so lucky that I got to be in some of the most iconic TV shows or movies where I had small cameos. I was kind of going down memory lane … I mean, I did Desperate Housewives with Eva Longoria, I did Spin City with Michael J. Fox — [that was] six episodes — I did How I Met Your Mother, Sex and the City walking over Sarah Jessica Parker, Oceans Eight with Sandra Bullock … I was so lucky that I got to be in some of the most iconic TV shows and movies over the years.”

Heidi said that it is always important for people to be curious and to have goals and interests, just as it has been for her. She said, “I always dabbled into different things because of the interests that I’ve had and also doing things that are not on my bingo card, let’s say, or that are not something that I’ve learned to do, like modelling.”
