One of the biggest nights in fashion has arrived as the Met Gala returns to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Shortly after securing a sixth-place finish at the Miami Grand Prix and wearing Ferrari Style and a Saint Laurent runway look in the F1 paddock, Hamilton is reported to be making his way to New York for the prestigious evening.

After serving as co-chair of the 2025 Met Gala alongside rapper A$AP Rocky, musician Pharrell Williams, actor Colman Domingo and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Hamilton is understood to be in attendance once again.
The Ferrari driver made his first appearance at the Met Gala in 2015, and has since attended every year with the exception of 2020, 2022 and 2023.
Speaking about his 2021 appearance, when he used the event to shine a light on young Black designers, Hamilton told F1.com: “It is such a prestigious event, but that one thing showed that it can be a great event and also have a positive impact. She’s brought me on board and that’s what we’re doing on a bigger scale now moving forwards, so I’m really grateful to be part of that.”

The official red-carpet livestream, which will be hosted by Emma Chamberlain, Cara Delevingne, Ashley Graham and La La Anthony, will be available to watch live on the Vogue YouTube channel.
It will also be broadcast on E! and Peacock.

The 2026 Met Gala will take place this evening, Monday 4 May. The red carpet will begin at 6pm ET (11pm BST) and will run until 8pm ET (1am BST on Tuesday 5 May).
